Dragonball Z – And the Greatest of These
My fifth YouTube video, this was the first video I’d ever created (albeit this version is highly revamped). This is the ‘trailer’ I’d created for my Dragonball Z fan novel AND THE GREATEST OF THESE (which I am actually trying to get published, against all the odds in the book, forgive the pun). Hughes Hall’s “Sleep Now” lends itself beautifully to trailers, and this video’s concept was developed in a single afternoon. I wasn’t doing it to suck people into watching DBZ (although one day I will make the time to do a series of videos – one for each story arc – that tells the story of DBZ in like 5% of the time needed). I did it because I was tired of explaining to people that I’d written a book.

Everyone has seen DBZ, so I was amused by this. This video has high amounts of evil in it though. You’re going to lure in one person who hasn’t seen DBZ yet and then make them want to watch it because it looks awesome in this video you’ve created and then when they actually sit down they’ll realize how completely boring it really is but they won’t be able to stop watching. No, not exactly. I wrote a DBZ novel a couple of years back, and got so tired of trying to sum it up for people that I made a ‘trailer’ for it.
